From embodied interaction to an inspectable record
A pass can fail before the ball leaves the hand.
Spacing, defensive pressure, available support, and the history of play may already have narrowed what can happen next. The research question is when those possibilities change—and whether recovery remains available.
The existing IEM research uses an instrumented XR environment to connect embodied interaction, an evolving field, event records, and temporal views. Environmental Working Memory lets interaction history reshape future responsiveness.
For an AI or movement researcher, the proposed shift is to study trajectories together with their changing constraints and recoverable alternatives, alongside the action that was actually taken.

Movement alone is not creativity. What matters is what can still happen next.
Phenotropic Isotopicity is a formal theory of kinaesthetic creativity developed through mathematics, design, and embodied practice. Its central object is the Topology of Futures: how possibilities remain reachable, become constrained, and can be reopened through transformation.
The Viable Middle holds a tension: enough structure for relations to persist, enough freedom for them to become otherwise.

This practice-based inquiry brings mathematics, design, and embodied practice into conversation through movement, haptics, AI-mediated interaction, and extended reality.
It asks how meaningful relations can persist, deform, collapse, and re-seed as systems transform through time—and how design can give curiosity, play, and new futures room to continue becoming.
The public site presents selected research materials and an artistic encounter. The private IEM implementation, runtime, and applied calculations are not included.
